Paddle the Edge is a kayak race on the west coast of Vancouver Island for paddlers of all levels looking for ways to experience ‘life on the edge’. This remarkable 2-3 hour adventure begins at 10am at the Seaplane Base in the quaint fishing village of Ucluelet, BC. Kayakers will paddle the length of the Ucluelet Harbour from the sheltered inside waters to the dramatic seascape of the outer harbour, skimming past sleeping sea lions, soaring eagles, stalking herons and a multitude of fishing and sailing vessels.
