1. Racers must be officially
registered with a race number and have signed a waiver in order to be officially
ranked in the Edge to Edge marathon
2. Racers must wear their race number
for the duration of the race in a visible spot (front of jersey).
3. Racers
must stick to the official marked race course or risk disqualification.
1.
A team must consist of 5 individuals (ie.a different person must run each leg).
2. A tag of the hand is sufficient for a pass off at each exchange point.
3. NO Support people on the run route (including exchange areas).
**If a crew/vehicle
impede traffic, other participants or volunteers your team may be disqualified**
General Race Day Information
- No Pets
or Strollers on the course.
- Walkmans should be used at low levels, enabling
you to detect traffic and traffic controllers.
Please respect the fact that marathoners
will be passing through these areas and their running corridor must be kept clear
at all times. Traffic controllers and volunteers are on course to offer guidance
and protect participants. Please respect their authority and abide by their recommendations
at all times. Thank you.
