How
many runners per team? How long does each person run? | The
relay component consists of a 5-member team, each running a 7-11km (4-6
mile) portion of the course. The length of each leg is determined by safe
exchange points.
Stage Lengths:
Leg #1 - 8km - Run on Chesterman Beach
Leg #2 - 10km - Longest leg with a view a view of Long Beach.
Leg #3 - 7.2km - Short but good hill to start
Leg #4 - 7.8km - Downhill-ish
Leg #5 - 9.2km - Rolly but you get the glory of the finish line. |

| Transportation
to the Race Start & Exchange Points | Shuttle Buses
are available from Ucluelet to Tofino. Please ensure you are on a bus with sufficient
time to get you to your exchange point if racing on a team. More details coming
soon. Relay team members will be transported to their exchange points
by bus, but are responsible for ensuring they are each point in time for the exchange
(this is based on the individual pace of each runner). The buses will run every
20-25 minutes from Tofino. It is a 45-minute trip between Ucluelet and Tofino,
plus possible traffic delays and bus stops, SO LEAVE EARLY!
Support vehicles will NOT be allowed to stop at the Relay Exchange points. |

| Gear
Transport / Bag Check | Your gear will be transported from
the start line to the finish line, if needed. Please make sure to tag your luggage
with your name and race number. Baggage will be held for the length of the timed
course (approximately 5 hours). |

ALL members of each Relay Team will receive a finishers medal! First place finishers
in each relay category (All male, all female, and Coed) will receive a West Coast
