"The People Who Make It Happen!"

Every year without fail, the people of Ucluelet and Tofino volunteer their time and efforts to make the Edge-to-Edge marathon possible.

The Ucluelet Chamber of Commerce organizes this event but could not do it without our sponsors and volunteers. The incredible Carbo-Load dinner or the fantastic after-run goodies buffet, the water and energy drinks along the route are mainly provided by sponsors. Business owners from Tofino, Ucluelet and the Ucluth First Nations decorate and maintain our water stations, and the District of Ucluelet and Tofino and Pacific Rim National Park contribute greatly to make this event happen.

There are hundreds of volunteers, doing so many different jobs from directing traffic, to providing communications, handing out medals, setting up sandbags and signs and water and relay stations along the route. They assist with registering runners, providing first aid... it’s all done by volunteers, and some of those volunteers have been volunteering since the beginning.

Thank you to everyone who helps to make this a fun, safe and memorable event. Without your help, the marathon couldn’t be held.
