Useful Information for Race Day

Race Package Pickup

During the pickup sessions you will be collecting your race shirt, signing liability waivers and photography releases. You will also receive your race number.

Parking

Parking is extremely limited at the start/finish line area. Some spaces are available at the Ucluelet Community Centre and at the Cedar Road public car park.

Please do not park at the Christ Community Church as this is reserved for church goers attending the Sunday service.

Warm Up

A group warm up for each race will start 30 minutes before the race start time.

Prize Trophies

The age categories are 19 and under, 20-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years and 60+ years.

Showers

Showers are available for a small fee at West Coast Motel, Hemlock Street and Island West Resort, Bay Street.

Race Day Photographs

Photographs from race day will be available a few days after the race. Please check our Race Gallery page for more information and a link to download your favourites.

Personal Drones

Drones are not permitted anywhere along the Edge to Edge race routes, or the Wild Pacific Trail. The start/finish line is adjacent to an active aquadrome where drone flying is also prohibited. Anyone flying a drone is at risk of a substantial fine.

No Dogs or Pets Allowed

Participants and attendees are not permitted to bring their pet dogs into the Ucluelet Community Centre under any circumstances. Participants doing so will be immediately asked to leave. Guide and service support dogs for people with accessible needs in accordance with the Guide Dog and Service Dog Act and B.C.’s Human Rights Code are welcome in the Ucluelet Community Centre, but we expect guide and service support dogs to be well trained and not disruptive or aggressive. A person must not falsely represent a dog as being a member of a guide dog team, service dog team, retired guide or service dog team or dog-in-training team.
